Else is There to Do?
Here’s what you’ll find right outside the Convention Center:
There’s plenty of shops at Harborplace, and for you grown-ups, Fells Point (an area of Baltimore a few blocks up the street from the Inner Harbor) is THE place for bar-crawling. Glen Burnie, home of Games Workshop, is a suburb of Baltimore: perhaps you can give the GW boys a call and get a tour during the week. If you’re willing to do some driving, historic Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay (including Sandy Point State Park’s beautiful beach) are about 45 minutes from downtown Baltimore. And if you want to stay a few more days and make a full-blown vacation out of your trip, Washington D.C., with all its monuments, is about an hour from Baltimore. Your Guide
