10. Tankbustas.
Yeah, the weakness is that wily opponents can hose you, but there are few
options.
9. Killer Kans/Dreads with Rokkit
Lauchas or Megablastas. One shot with BS 2 is not reliable, but
at least they are assault weapons, so the 'Kan or the Dread can beat on
the damn tank when he gets there.
8. Rokkit Launchas in Boyz mobs.
Again, with BS 2 you are not going to hit a lot, but there is always the
chance.
7. Mekboyz with mega blastas.
Suffer the same problems as Boyz, but ammo runts can give you a reroll.
6. Zzap guns on Battlewagons.
The random strength means you could get a really good shot, but having
to hit makes it unreliable.
5. Buggies with twin-linked rokkit
launchas. Still BS 2, but twin linked helps, and you can take
three in a squadron.
4. Weirdboys or Warpheads.
The ultimate in unreliable, but two of the powers are good against tanks.
A Warphead gets a reroll to help get the right power when you need it
3. Lootas. Deffguns
are only Strength 7, but have multiple shots, so a viable option against
lightly armored vehicles.
2. Ramming with Battlewagons.
In true Orky fashion, smashing into the other guy actually works. Finally....
1. Power Klaws.
Orks excel at assault, so it makes sense this is the best option: a charging
Nob will have S9 (base Strength 4, x 2 for power claw, +1 for Furious
Charge) and a charging Warboss will have S10! Actually getting to the
tank in question might be a problem, and once the tank is killed, you are
standing around waiting to be shot or assaulted by what was inside.
Good old fashioned power
klaws should solve all your tank problems...
