Tigerskin Terrors

was inspired to flesh out what I had written about The Tiger Eyes of
Craftworld Kashmyrr in the Allies and Enemies
section:
Recruited
to fight the Saracens and the
hordes of Sho-T BigHed, the jetbikes
of the Tiger Eyes excelled in lightning-fast strikes against the fire support
elements of the enemy. While this alliance was originally considered temporary,
of late Craftworld Kashmyrr has asked for help against the encroaching
Tau. The Tigers are debating involvement.
Over to you,
Martin....
Background
The Tigerskin
Terrors, warriors from Craftworld Kashmyrr, are led by the Pack Leader
Yirrikshad, who led his family in exile from the Craftworld after a slight
disagreement with the ruling Seers. A lengthy trip through the webway brought
them to Veda, where the Fighting Tigers
Space Marine Chapter were in serious trouble against the Warband Bloodcomet,
a Khornate army (later known as the Saracens).
Yirrikshad
and his Eldar were eager to enter battle again and the Fighting Tigers
were glad of any allies. Within days, the vheicles of the exiles, repainted
in bright orange and black so as to be easily recognised by the Fighting
Tigers and their other allies, were launching rapid strikes on the Warband
Bloodcomet. Yirrikshad's people earned the nickname "Tiger Eyes" after
the markings on their jetbikes.
After the Khornate
Marines were defeated, the Tiger Eyes/Tigerskin Terrors helped the Fighting
Tigers in several other battles, including against the Ork warlord Sho-T
BigHed before he settled on Auros IX.
Philosophy
The Tigerskin
Terrors are nomadic Eldar who use a lot of vehicles and jetbikes to employ
fast strikes against any enemy. They have a special hatred for the Dark
Angel Space Marines, who have inflicted heavy casualties upon the craftworld
and destroyed the only Wraithlord ever to accompany the Tigerskin Terrors.
HQ
The Tigerskin
Terrors use the Saim Hann list. Their leader, Yirrikshad, is considered
a Wild Rider Chief. Any Farseers taken must either be mounted on a jetbike
or transported inside a Falcon or Wave Serpent.
Elites
Fire Dragons
are the only Elites that may be taken as they are one of only two Aspects
to have followed Yirrikshad into exile (Swooping Hawks are the other).
They must be mounted in a Wave Serpent.
Troops
The Craftworld
prefers an aggressive style of warfare, fielding Storm Guardians and Rangers.
Storm Guardians must be mounted in Wave Serpents. Rangers are the only
units in the army that do not have to have transports, as it is assumed
that they infiltrate the battlezone well ahead of the Tigerskin force.
Fast Attack
As per Codex:
Eldar. Remember that in the Saim-Hann army list, Swooping Hawks
are considered Fast Attack.
Heavy Support
Tigerskin
Terrors use only Falcons and Falcon variants (such as the Fire Prism and
the Night Spinner).
Modeling and Painting
All figures
and vehicles are painted Fiery Orange with Chaos Black stripes. Typical
Aspect colours are not used. Jetbikes have been known to sport a stylized
"eye" design (hence the nickname "Tiger Eyes"), but need not bear it.

Tigerskin Terrors are also
known as "Tiger Eyes" because of their distinctive markings
General Tactics
In battle,
Tigerskin Terrors are always moving and always keep their force together
to minimize the fire lanes their opponent can draw to them, attacking first
against the enemy's weaker points (such as heavy weapon squads). Their
Farseers prefer to use Fortune.
