Old Guys' Night Out

Pat and I have been friends with Ultra-Hoopy Frood Mel Glover for many years now, but haven't had a chance to see him for quite some time. Recently, though, Mel came into town and met up with Pat and me at Dream Wizards in Rockville, Maryland. Mel, formerly a Dark Angels and Dark Eldar player, brought along his new Marine army, the Emperor's Wolfhounds, and teamed up with my misunderstood Fearful Symmetry against Pat's newest team, the perfidous Wolf Brothers.

We played the "Annihilation" mission, using the "Spearhead" deployment. Mel and I each had 1500 points; Pat had 3000. After a long day at work, I decided to take the evening off and not take notes during the game. Instead, I'll give you some photos from the evening.

In the end, the Wolf Brothers had 7 Kill Points, as did the combined forces of the Emperor's Wolfhounds and the Fearful Symmetry. A tie! A very fitting end to a very fun night of gaming among old friends.
